Making A Difference

Your donation helps create opportunities for the campaign to help those who need it. Our help section is funded by donations like yours, to pay for transport, roofing, legal aid, and other needs for locals in trouble.

Supporting Locals

All the money collected by this campaign will be spent in the community, helping local groups, businesses, and artists Duval County (or, in some cases, Clay County — they’re our neighbors too.)

Gas and Transporting People

Gas is at insane prices, and much of the campaign is volunteer-staffed. Donations help us get people across the city without putting financial strain on those kind enough to help us try to make Jacksonville better.

Campaign Merchandise

Running for an at-large seat is harder than a normal council district. An at-large race rides on publicity, and shirts, buttons, bumper stickers, and other “swag” help get the word out about the campaign and our goals.

Funding Grassroots Work

We are primarily grassroots, and with our focus on engagement in city organizing, we can give back to the groups actively helping those in need here in Jacksonville. This includes neighborhood organizations, homeless shelters, and donation drives.

Hire Employees

We cannot expect this to be an exclusively volunteer campaign. The local people who put in the work to get you to this site should be compensated for their time. Donations help us pay for their expertise.
